As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive accountant to help manage our financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support decision-making processes across our diverse business activities.

 

Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate financial statements, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a multi-faceted business environment, particularly in both service-based and eCommerce operations.

 

Key Responsibilities: 


Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.


Accounts Payable & Receivable:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile accounts and handle any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients and vendors.


Tax Compliance:

  • Prepare and file tax returns (GST, income tax, etc.) in accordance with applicable laws.


Payroll Administration:

  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
  • Maintain employee records, deductions, and benefit data.


Inventory & Cost Management:

  • Track and manage inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Ensure that inventory purchases, sales, and returns are accurately recorded in the system.


Financial Systems & Compliance:

  • Maintain and improve financial systems, software, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support for audits and liaise with external auditors when required.


Reporting & Liaison:

  • Generate and present financial reports to senior management for decision- making.
  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and financial institutions to resolve financial matters.

 

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) as an accountant, preferably in the contracting or eCommerce industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
