Software Quality Assurance Professional

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Quality Assurance Specialist.This individual will be responsible for end-to-end testing of APIs, developing and maintaining API automation suites using Postman, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Playwright, and collaborating closely with backend engineers and product teams to ensure quality and stability before every release.Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for API functionality.Build and maintain robust API automation suites.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.Design and implement effective test data strategies for optimal coverage.Promote release readiness by providing QA sign-offs and supporting UAT/production validations.The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in manual API testing using Postman, REST, JSON, and Swagger, as well as proven automation experience with JavaScript/TypeScript-based tools (Playwright preferred). Additionally, they should have a solid understanding of HTTP protocols, authentication, webhooks, and databases (MongoDB/MySQL).Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:Strong knowledge of API testing methodologies and tools.Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with Postman, Playwright, or similar automation tools.Experience with database management systems (MongoDB/MySQL) and webhooks.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
