Cloud Solutions EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team.About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure for our organization. As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.Administer company SaaS platforms to enhance user productivity, focusing on tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members.Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability to our infrastructure.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Tools and TechnologiesYou will have hands-on experience with:AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.Infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Okta SSO Platform.Networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing.Monitoring platforms such as Data Dog, Orion, Nagios, and WhatsUp Gold.Containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.What We OfferWe offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, opportunities for career growth and development, and a competitive compensation package.
