Responsible for creating innovative, high-quality, and aesthetically pleasing furniture designs that meet customer needs and market trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design and development, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement design and development strategies to create innovative and aesthetically pleasing outdoor furniture designs that meet customer needs and market trends.Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer preferences.Create 2D and 3D designs using CAD software and traditional sketching methods.Oversee the development of prototypes and ensure that designs meet quality, performance and safety standards.Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that designs are feasible to produce and cost-effective.Manage the design and development team and ensure that team members are meeting their goals and objectives.Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the design team.Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that designs meet customer needs and sales goals.Continuously review and improve the design and development process to optimize efficiency and quality.Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery of products.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Design or a related field.Minimum of 2-10 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in the furniture industry.Strong leadership and communication skills.Excellent design skills and ability to create aesthetically pleasing designs that meet customer needs.Proficiency in CAD software and traditional sketching methods.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.Understanding of safety and quality standards.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.If you meet the above requirements and are looking for an exciting opportunity to lead the design and development of luxury outdoor furniture, please apply with your updated resume and a cover letter.Company Profile : Our Client is a group of companies, with over two decades of experience, was established in 1987 as a timber fenestration provider and since then the company had consistently excelled in catering to major projects pan-India & Overseas.
