Purpose:Our team seeks an experienced programming expert to provide support for our statistics and programming department. This role will involve working on various projects across multiple clients and therapeutic areas.Key Responsibilities:The study programmer position requires the ability to manipulate large databases and generate reports that enable analysts to explore real-world healthcare data assets.Candidates must have excellent SAS and SQL programming skills and be able to implement complex logic.They should also be comfortable with creating complex analysis data sets derived from various data sources, while maintaining a careful eye for outliers and errors.Technical Requirements:The ideal candidate should be proficient in R and SQL programming, with expertise in Oncology databases such as Flatiron and COTA.They should also have a good understanding of Oncology-specific analyses, including Line of Therapy algorithms, Survival analysis, and different statistical models.Additional Desirable Skills:R Shiny or Instant Health Data (IHD) experienceAnalytic Datasets, patient cohorts experienceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other subject with high statistical contentMinimum 4+ years of statistical programming experienceDatabase programming using SQLExperience with advanced statistical methods such as survival and regressionExperience with real-world healthcare claims and EHR data such as MarketScan, Optum, and Medicare databasesPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or other subject with high statistical contentTraining or experience using the OMOP Common Data ModelTraining or experience with Python, R, Databricks, or other cloud-based softwarePharmaceutical industry experienceTraining or experience in epidemiological methodsThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the field of real-world healthcare data analytics.Responsibilities will include working closely with internal and client teams to deliver high-quality results and providing expert guidance on programming and analytical techniques.We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about programming and has a strong desire to learn and grow with our organization.
