As part of our expansion we are looking for talented Field Quality Lead to work efficiently in our growing team. Synedyne has been in the forefront of product development in Sensing, Control, Connectivity and Intelligence products in India.


Location: Jigani, Bommasandra Bengaluru

Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics


Role Objective:


  • Front ending with the customers for field / line defects 
  • Tracking and monitoring of the issues and presenting to the customer and management 
  • Tracking and monitoring the countermeasures implemented and assessing the effectiveness 
  • Leading the team of engineers for failure analysis and field intervention 
  • Ensuring the field team is well equipped with product knowledge and competence to analyse the failures and also with the necessary instruments 
  • Ensuring the analysis is completed on time and prompt communications are sent to the stakeholders 
  • Review of the analysis reports critically and ensuring the correctness, relevance and completeness with timebound activities 
  • Communication with the internal CFT for any support required for the analysis and countermeasures implementation 


Key Responsibilities/Functions


  • Team Management with setting team objectives and KPIs 
  • Assessment of team competence 
  • Setup processes for tracking and monitoring of failures, analysis and countermeasures 
  • Record, Monitor, and analyze Field failures & Warranty concerns for Synedyne products. Working with the cross-functional teams for joint analysis (if required) and reporting of the issues. 
  • Understanding the schematics or blueprints to determine how to address the concerns. 
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, analyze, and report product issues identify the root cause, and submit analysis reports within a targeted time. 
  • Preparation of the 8D reports/failure analysis Reports as per Synedyne standards. 
  • Effectively communicate technical information to customers. 
  • Escalate technical issues to engineering when necessary. 
  • Undertake field visits for analysis. 
  • Usage and maintenance of the test and measurement instruments such as Mustimeter, Oscilloscope and Signal generators, Microscope, debuggers, network analyzers, and specialized test equipment.  
  • Creation, updation and closure of tickets. 


Essential Skills (Must have)


  • Experience in leading the field quality activities for automotive or related products, preferably mechatronics products 
  • Proficient in systematic analysis of the product failures 
  • Ability to prepare reports and effectively communicate with customers 
  • Knowledge on  
  • System Understanding of the Synedyne products and the environment in which they operate  
  • System testing of electrical and electronic products 
  • Basic project management 
  • Pareto analysis 
  • Conflict management 
  • 4M Change management 
  • Systematic failure investigation and Root Cause Analysis (5Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree Analysis) 
  • Test and measurement Instruments 
  • Basics of Electrical and Electronic system  
  • Electronic Components such as Resistors, Capacitor, Diodes, Transistors, Inductors, relays, sensors, ICs
