Manual Quality Assurance SpecialistThe Manual Quality Assurance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of software applications through structured manual testing practices.This role involves planning test strategies, executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support smooth product releases.Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing.Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect-tracking tools.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA team members to clarify requirements and resolve issues.Validate application functionality against business requirements and specifications.Participate in requirement reviews and provide test effort estimates.Ensure adherence to established QA processes and contribute to continuous improvement.Prepare and maintain clear testing documentation and reports.Support release cycles by conducting thorough pre-release testing.Key Requirements:A strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.Proficiency with defect-tracking and test-management tools such as Jira or TestRail.The ability to write comprehensive test cases and scenarios from requirements.Experience testing web and mobile applications.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings clearly.
