Job Description:Location: Joka, Kolkata Qualification: ITI / Diploma (Civil or relevant trade preferred)Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Foreman (Executive Level) to supervise and manage on-site construction activities.The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge, team-handling skills, and hands-on experience in civil/finishing works for residential or commercial projects.Key Responsibilities:• Oversee daily construction activities and ensure smooth execution at the site.• Supervise workforce, allocate tasks, and ensure productivity and discipline.• Monitor quality of work and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.• Coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors, and vendors for material and resource requirements.• Maintain records of labor attendance, work progress, and material usage.• Assist in resolving on-site technical issues and ensure timely completion of tasks.• Ensure compliance with safety norms and promote safe work practices among labor teams.• Conduct inspections and report daily progress to the Site Engineer/Project Manager. Job Requirements:• 5–8 years of experience as a Foreman in civil or finishing works.• Strong understanding of construction activities, drawings, and work sequences.• Experience in residential, commercial, or township projects preferred.• Ability to supervise labor teams and maintain discipline on site.• Good communication and coordination skills.• Must be proactive, responsible, and capable of working independently.
