About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Video Content Creator to produce and edit engaging video content for our marketing initiatives.ResponsibilitiesThis role requires 4-7 years of experience in video production, editing, and post-production.Video Production:Collaborate with our marketing team to develop video concepts and strategies that align with our marketing goals.Capture and edit high-quality video footage for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and more.Familiarity with videography / on-site video production is required.Maintain a consistent and on-brand style, tone, and messaging throughout all video content.Editing and Post-Production:Edit and assemble raw footage, ensuring seamless transitions, clean audio, and compelling visuals.Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects as needed to enhance video content.Optimize video content for various platforms and devices, considering aspect ratios, resolutions, and file formats.Add music, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance the viewer experience.Content Management:Organize and maintain a library of video assets, ensuring easy access and efficient retrieval for future projects.Work collaboratively with team members to manage video files, version control, and project timelines.Quality Assurance:Review and proof video content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with branding guidelines.Making revisions and improvements based on feedback from stakeholders is essential.Staying Current:Stay up-to-date with industry trends and video editing software advancements to incorporate innovative techniques into video production.QualificationsBachelor's degree in film production, digital media, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment.Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).Able to work proficiently in graphic design tools like illustrator and photoshop.Knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).Strong storytelling and visual storytelling skills.Excellent attention to detail and an eye for design aesthetics.Understanding of marketing principles and the ability to convey marketing messages through video.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.Preferred SkillsExperience with color correction and color grading.Knowledge of audio editing and sound design.Familiarity with video SEO best practices.Basic knowledge of graphic design, 3D modeling, and animation (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, illustrator, adobe aftereffects, etc.).
