These values help us attract top talent from around the world.We're looking for an Application Security Engineer who will work closely with development teams, product managers, and third-party groups to ensure Sphera products are secure.This role reports to the Director of Information Security and supports cloud and on-prem applications to implement a holistic vulnerability management approach.Responsibilities:Participate in application security reviews and threat modeling, including code review and dynamic testing.Own and perform application security vulnerability management.Facilitate security releases and support product and development teams.Consult on application security and assist in creating security training.Develop automated security testing to validate secure coding practices.Support dynamic and static vulnerability scanning tools.Requirements:Familiarity with common security libraries and controls.Basic development or scripting experience and skills.Experience with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools.A basic understanding of network and web-related protocols.Excellent communication skills to articulate complex topics.Experience identifying security issues through code review.Benefits:Remote work arrangement.Flexible working hours (14:30-23:30 IST).Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.7-10 years of experience in application security.Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.About Us:We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all colleagues.This job description is intended to convey essential information about the scope of the job and general nature and level of work performed.
