Preferred Qualifications: Key Responsibilities:

Environmental Evaluation & Quantification:

  • Assess the environmental impact of both existing and proposed architectural projects.
  • Quantify sustainability metrics and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
  • Develop comprehensive environmental reports and research papers.

Software Proficiency:

  • Utilize advanced tools such as Ecotech, AI-based Simulation Software, and Building Information Modelling (BIM) to assess and improve project sustainability.
  • Implement energy modelling, daylighting analysis, and thermal comfort studies to optimize designs.

Coordination with Environmental Consultants:

  • Collaborate with external environmental consultants to integrate sustainable practices into all phases of design and construction.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and communication between internal teams and external consultants.

Pre-Design and Post-Design Environmental Analysis:

  • Conduct initial environmental impact assessments during the pre-design phase.
  • Monitor and analyse environmental performance post-construction, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to sustainability goals.

Post-Environmental Statistics & Reporting:

  • Collect, analyse, and disseminate environmental performance data throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain up-to-date environmental statistics and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.

Regulatory Compliance & Best Practices:

  • Ensure all projects comply with local, national, and international environmental regulations.
  • Stay informed about the latest environmental legislation and green building practices.
  • Advocate for the adoption of new sustainable technologies and methodologies within the firm.

Project Management & Leadership:

  • Lead environmental sustainability initiatives within project teams.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and designers on sustainable practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring environmental goals are met on time and within budget.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and community members to promote the environmental benefits of design choices.
  • Present findings, reports, and recommendations clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.


Educational Qualification:

  • M. Arch in Environmental Studies, M.Sc./M.Tech in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Design, or a related field.
  • B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) preferred.
  • Specialization in evaluating, quantifying, and documenting the environmental impact of existing and new projects.


Skills & Competencies:

  •  LEED Accreditation or equivalent certification such as GRIHA, IGBC.
  • Experience in climate-responsive architecture and renewable energy systems.
