Primary: Hyper-V and Windows AdminJob Description:Preferred Location: HyderabadExperience Range: 6-8 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server and VMware administration.The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Windows and VMware environments. This role requires an in-depth understanding of Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies, and a proactive approach to system improvements and problem-solving.Windows Server Administration:- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019 environments.- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core Windows services.- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server operations.VMware Administration:- Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments.- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as VM provisioning, cloning, snapshots, and migrations.- Monitor virtual machine performance and resource allocation.- Implement and manage VMware backup solutions and disaster recovery plans.System Monitoring and Maintenance:- Utilize monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of servers and virtual machines.- Perform routine maintenance and proactive management to ensure high availability and performance.- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.Security and Compliance:- Implement and maintain security best practices across Windows and VMware environments.- Ensure systems are compliant with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.Support and Troubleshooting:- Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated technical issues.- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex infrastructure problems.- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
