About this Video Editor RoleThe ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and editing engaging video content to support marketing initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and strategies that align with marketing goals.Capture and edit high-quality video footage for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and more.Experience with videography / on-site video production is required.Ensure consistent style, tone, and messaging across all video content.Video Editing Tasks:Edit and assemble raw footage, ensuring seamless transitions, clean audio, and compelling visuals.Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects as needed to enhance video content.Optimize video content for various platforms and devices, considering aspect ratios, resolutions, and file formats.Add music, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance the viewer experience.Content Management:Organize and maintain a library of video assets, ensuring easy access and efficient retrieval for future projects.Collaborate with team members to manage video files, version control, and project timelines.Quality Assurance:Review and proof video content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with branding guidelines.Make necessary revisions and improvements based on feedback from stakeholders.To succeed in this role, you should have:Bachelor's degree in film production, digital media, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment.Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).Strong storytelling and visual storytelling skills.Excellent attention to detail and an eye for design aesthetics.PREFERRED SKILLS:Experience with color correction and color grading.Knowledge of audio editing and sound design.Familiarity with video SEO best practices.This is a key opportunity for the right candidate to leverage their creative vision and technical expertise to produce engaging video content
