The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in application security.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement robust security procedures for vulnerability detection.Provide expert guidance on secure coding practices across various programming languages and frameworks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive security initiatives and improve the overall security posture of our products.Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.Required Skills and Qualifications10+ years of experience in application security, with a focus on static analysis (SAST) tools and triaging security results.Expertise in security remediation techniques, secure coding best practices, and relevant industry standards like OWASP Top 10 and CWE/SANS Top 25.Ability to articulate complex security concepts to developers, auditors, and other stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and provide examples of false positives and negatives in source code.Desirable SkillsExperience with scripting or query languages, data flow diagrams, and threat modelling.Knowledge of taint analysis, reverse engineering, and source-level analysis.Relevant academic degrees or certifications, such as OSWP or OSCP.
