DevSecOps Engineer - Working shift in US Eastern Hours - 05:30 PM IST to 02:30 AM IST

\n

Responsibilities:

\n
  • \n
  • Develop and implement cloud-native infrastructure solutions to support the entire software development lifecycle.\n
  • Design and operate Kubernetes infrastructure using emerging technologies such as Datadog, Argo CD, Crossplane, Helm, and Karpenter.\n
  • Champion the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring best practices for scalability, resiliency, and security.\n
  • Support migration efforts to K8s.\n
  • Support architectural modernization of applications and their underlying infrastructure to be more cloud native leveraging serverless platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.\n
  • Build, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate front office software applications and core infrastructure technology.\n
  • Partner with the global IT organization to identify areas for automation (via IaC, CID/CD pipelines, etc) and implement solutions to streamline IT workflows and operational processes such as infra deployment, upgrades, patching, and migration with minimal service downtimes.\n
  • Support the design and implementation of high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to ensure the availability of critical IT services.\n
  • Conduct product evaluations, design & development of new features/enhancements, and continuous improvements in all areas of infrastructure service operations. Respond to mission-critical service issues to triage and resolve complex problems.\n
  • Partner with developers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, engineer, optimize, support, and maintain cloud-native solutions.\n
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and remediate them accordingly.\n

Qualifications:

\n
  • \n
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field of study.\n
  • Minimum 5+ years of prior professional Platform Engineering experience.\n
  • Excellent understanding of AWS services; including EKS, ECS, and related services\n
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes infrastructure and tooling, including Datadog, Argo CD, Crossplane, Helm, and Karpenter strongly preferred.\n
  • Experience with various CI/CD methodologies, container orchestration tools, and observability and performance monitoring technologies.\n
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and OSI layers.\n
  • Experience designing and implementing DevSecOps practices.\n
  • Advanced knowledge in assessing, deploying, configuring, testing, and operating AWS services using IaC tools.\n
  • Experience working in Linux environments.\n
  • Strong understanding of containers (eg: Docker) and container orchestration via Kubernetes\n
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Git, Python, shell scripting, and Terraform in an enterprise production environment.\n
  • Thorough understanding of change management control and the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing and deployment.\n
  • Proven experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of issues, with a demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and propose effective solutions to prevent the recurrence of the issue.\n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, possessing the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n
  • Strong analytical skill-set with demonstrated attention to detail.\n
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and high-intensity environment including open-floor plan if applicable to the position, with timely responsiveness and the ability to work beyond normal business hours when required.\n

Preferred Qualifications:

  • \n
  • Experience implementing Kubernetes security controls, including eBPF-based runtime visibility or policy enforcement\n
  • Experience supporting MLOps workloads on Kubernetes (e.g., model training, serving, pipelines, or GPU-enabled workloads)\n
  • Experience operating across multiple Kubernetes distributions (e.g., managed cloud Kubernetes and self-managed clusters)\n
  • Experience leveraging Open Source technologies incubated through CNCF\n
