We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Management Leader to join our team.About the Role:Lead the financial management function, overseeing the finalization of accounts, preparation of financial statements, and ensuring clients receive exceptional service.Develop and implement effective financial processes, reviewing workflow and managing a team of individuals to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.Cultivate strong relationships with clients, providing proactive support and addressing any technical issues that may arise.Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Finalize accounts and prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.Manage payroll compliance, including tax returns filings (940/941) and sales tax working.Coordinate onboarding of new clients and help team members settle into their roles.Participate in external and internal training, staying certified in software applications as required.Mentor and guide team members, developing their skills and expertise through regular feedback and coaching.Requirements:7+ years of experience in US accounting, with a strong background in financial management and leadership.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Experience using cloud accounting solutions, including QB, Xero, Sage, and Accounting CS.Minimum 3+ years of experience handling teams and coordinating direct US client interactions.Exposure to US GAAP accounting rules and regulations.
