Accounting SpecialistThe primary objective of this role is to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in daily accounting tasks, ensuring timely completion and strict adherence to standard operating procedures.Key Responsibilities:Perform accurate and timely accounting entries in Tally ERP, encompassing expense booking, income booking, purchase booking, and meticulous classification of ledger heads.Maintain error-free data entry, conduct periodic reconciliation of income, expenses, bank statements, vendor and customer balances, and GST reconciliation.Ensure timely collection and verification of bills/invoices from relevant departments, and prepare statutory returns, including monthly GST return (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B) and quarterly TDS return.Coordinate with internal departments to resolve document-related and accounts-related discrepancies, assist in month-end closing activities, and MIS preparation when required.Support the Accounts Manager during internal/external audits by providing required information and schedules.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or equivalent.1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the travel industry.Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliances (GST & TDS).Strong attention to detail and discipline in following SOPs.Ability to maintain organized documentation and meet deadlines.
