Job Description: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in software development and testing.
  • Proficiency in .NET or open-source web frameworks for .NET.
  • Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs and their testing.
  • Hands-on experience in writing automation scripts and/or building automation frameworks.


Automation Testing & Frameworks:

  • Expertise in Functional and API automation testing using tools like Selenium, FitNesse, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Postman or equivalent.
  • In-depth understanding of GitHub Branching and test automation frameworks, such as data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid frameworks.


Version Control & CI/CD:

  • Working knowledge of version control systems like GIT or SVN.
  • Ability to configure and manage CI/CD pipelines for test automation.


Technical Familiarity:

  • Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and Unix/Linux environments.
  • Strong coding skills in C# and .NET technologies.


Soft Skills:

  • A team player with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
  • Fast learner with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
