Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Director to lead our data solutions in India.This strategic leadership role oversees data analysts across the region and collaborates closely with engineering, development, and global teams. Responsibilities include establishing standards for semantic models, unified data definitions, and business intelligence solutions, while guiding AI capabilities and ensuring consistent data governance across multiple markets.Key Qualifications:A minimum of 7 years' experience in data solutions, analytics, business intelligence, or data product roles, including recent people management.Demonstrable experience within General Insurance data domains.Expert-level proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools, specifically Power BI (Premium, XMLA, ALM, optimization, governance).Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake and/or AWS Redshift, plus ETL/ELT tooling like Informatica.Strong background in semantic model design and enterprise data modeling.Hands-on experience delivering AI applications (RAG, embeddings, LLM prototyping), with understanding of responsible AI.Experience implementing data catalogs and lineage platforms.Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality across multiple markets.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with proven success engaging senior executives internationally.
