Position: Rigging Supervisor Industry: Petrochemical / Oil & GasJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Rigging Supervisor with extensive experience in rigging and lifting operations within a petrochemical plant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising rigging activities, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and leading a team to execute lifting operations safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate all rigging and lifting operations at site.Ensure that all lifting activities are performed in compliance with safety and HSE regulations.Interpret lifting plans and provide guidance to the rigging team for proper execution.Inspect rigging tools, lifting tackles, and accessories to ensure they are in good working condition.Assist in crane selection, load calculation, and lift planning for various operations.Oversee rigging of rotating and static equipment, piping, motors, and valves.Operate and supervise use of EOT cranes and mobile cranes up to 500 tons.Maintain records of lifting equipment inspections and work permits.Train and mentor team members in safe rigging practices.Requirements:High school graduate with a valid Rigging Certificate.7–10 years of experience in rigging and lifting operations within the petrochemical industry.Strong understanding of Permit to Work systems and HSE standards.Skilled in rigging operations for mechanical, piping, and equipment installation works.Experience in EOT crane operation and handling cranes up to 500 tons.Ability to lead and supervise a rigging team effectively.Good knowledge of rigging tools inspection, crane selection, and standard hand signals.Intermediate proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
