Sustainability Data Engineer LeadThis role supports enterprise-wide Sustainability initiatives by building data pipelines and models for product-level carbon footprint analysis.Responsibilities:Develop and Optimize ETL Pipelines: Design, develop, and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines on Databricks using PySpark and SQL for carbon footprint analytics.Data Modeling and Integration: Build data models combining engineering (EBOM), manufacturing (MBOM), supplier, and factory operations data to generate emissions metrics. Integrate and transform data from MBOM from SAP, EBOM from Oracle-based systems, supplier environmental data, and factory data.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with sustainability analysts, engineering teams, and supply chain stakeholders to translate carbon calculation logic into data transformations.Quality Assurance and Governance: Ensure high data quality, lineage, and governance using Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and standard best practices.What We're Looking For:Expertise in ETL/ELT Pipelines: Proven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks.Advanced Data Modeling Skills: Strong background in building complex data models using various data sources and integrating them for analytical purposes.Excellent Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sustainability analysts, engineering teams, and supply chain stakeholders.Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex data-related issues.Why This Role Matters:This role is crucial in supporting our company's commitment to Sustainability.
