Job Objective
- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. This role acts as theright-hand to the CFO, ensuring that financial strategies align with the company’s overall objectives, managing teamswithin the finance department, and providing financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.Primary Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning:o Assist the CFO in developing the organization’s
financial strategy, ensuring alignment with long-termbusiness objectives.o Lead the development and implementation of
financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to supportbusiness growth.o Provide recommendations to optimize financial performance, cash flow, and capital investments. Financial Operations:o Oversee day-to-day operations of the
finance department, including accounting, treasury, tax, andfinancial reporting.o Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevantaccounting standardso Manage working capital, liquidity, and investment strategies to meet operational and strategic goals.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:o Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior managementand the board of directors.o Analyze financial performance and present key insights and recommendations to support businessdecisions.o Lead the creation of dashboards and KPIs for monitoring financial health.
Risk Management & Compliance:o Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with legal and regulatory requirementso Partner with internal audit and external auditors to maintain audit readiness and financial accuracy.o Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency, credit, and interest rate exposure.
Leadership & Team Development:o Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and engagement.o Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function.
Knowledge and Skill requirements•
Chartered Accountant having minimum 10 years
of work experiencePreference in Sugar/Manufacturing Industry• Analytical mind set with experience in strategic planning• Strategic Thinking & Financial Analysis• Risk Management & Compliance• Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Management• Problem Solving & Decision-Making• Attention to Detail & Accuracy
