About This RoleGigSky is revolutionizing global mobile connectivity with our innovative eSIM technology.Our platform enables seamless, on-demand data access across borders—empowering IoT devices, wearables, vehicles, and aircraft systems. We eliminate roaming fees and deliver local connectivity through a global platform.A Senior Mobile Network Engineer will lead the development, integration, and optimization of our core network and roaming infrastructure in Bangalore.This hands-on engineering role has high-impact visibility across product, vendor, and operator ecosystems.Key Responsibilities:Network Management: Manage LTE/UMTS core network elements: SGSN, GGSN, PGW, SGW, and HSSRoaming Integration: Lead IREG testing for successful roaming connectivity with operators worldwideTroubleshooting: Troubleshoot SS7, Diameter, SMPP, and SIP signaling protocol issuesInterconnect Design: Design interconnects with signaling, messaging, and roaming partners globallyVendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Ericsson, Cisco) on new network features and hardware/software componentsNetwork Requirements: Define network requirements and test procedures for new operator/partner onboardingProject Management: Act as technical lead for RFPs, vendor evaluations, and network-side project managementCross-Functional Alignment: Work cross-functionally to align network capabilities with business goalsRequired Skills & Experience:5–10 years of experience in mobile network engineering, preferably in roaming and international connectivityLTE/UMTS Architecture: Strong understanding of LTE/UMTS architecture, including EPC and IMS componentsTechnical Expertise: Hands-on experience with IREG testing, roaming partner onboarding, SS7, Diameter, SMPP, SIP, GTP-C/U protocols, network troubleshooting tools, eSIM technologies, SIM provisioning, OTA platforms, network security, QoS, and fault isolationInternational Connectivity: Experience working with international mobile operators, MVNOs, and sponsored roaming modelsDocumentation & Communication: Ability to draft and review network specifications, technical RFPs, and vendor proposalsStrong Documentation & Communication Skills: Strong documentation and communication skillsWhy Join Us?Cutting-Edge Technology: Work on cutting-edge global connectivity platformsCollaboration: Collaborate with top-tier vendors and international operatorsCompetitive Benefits: Competitive compensation and benefitsInnovation: Opportunity to lead technical innovation in mobile data
