About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned IT professional specializing in cloud-based data architectures. In this role, you will be responsible for designing secure, scalable, and robust data systems that support mission-critical public facing applications and data processing business solutions on Microsoft Azure.Design and implement end-to-end data and solution architectures for cloud-based applications, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and performance.Develop comprehensive data modeling strategies, ensuring high-quality, well-documented, and easily maintainable data structures.Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define and enforce data governance, security standards, and architectural best practices.Architect and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure-native tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics) to meet the evolving needs of the organization.Implement and maintain security strategies including data encryption, access controls, and compliance with data protection regulations.Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.The ideal candidate will possess:Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and technologies.Strong understanding of data architecture design patterns and best practices.Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge data solutions.
