Production Supervision Specialist

Job Description

Role Summary:

The Production Supervision specialist provides overall leadership and support for
performance of the daily operations of manufacturing shops to ensure reliability and
consistency on the production line and provide direction of production teams. The
position implements actions to improve product & process quality, as well as
accelerating and support cultural change efforts aimed at achieving organizational
goals.

Essential Responsibilities / Expectations:

Overall leadership to both the Chemical blending and Membrane manufacturing operations in the Plant  Monitoring and improving productivity, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality, and cost-conscious manner.  Managing the production shift lead’s and engaging them in skill enhancement of operators by developing and creating training plans to maximize workforce capability.  Leading Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals  Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation to optimize costs and implement digital tools that enable productivity.  Aware of and comply with the Veolia Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

Educational Qualification:

BE Chemical or Mechanical

Key Skills required (must haves – certifications/ know- how):

Bachelor’s Degree with 5-6 years production, supply chain experience
2. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
3. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement Best Practices and deal with
elevated levels of ambiguity.
4. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and
leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
5. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Effective problem identification
and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability

6. Knowledge on SAP, Microsoft 365/Google tools would be added advantage.
