Role: Deputy Manager, Treasury (Trade Finance)

Location: New Delhi


Responsibilities:

  • Establishing relationship with banks and financial institutions for increasing import financing opportunities
  • In depth knowledge of FEMA guidelines for imports/BGs/Sanctions 
  • Hands on experience in managing the end to end lifecycle of LC including LC issuance, LC discounting (including purchase LC discounting), Documents Presentation and negotiation 
  • Ensuring managing the internal stakeholders and banks for getting the transactions processed in a seamless manner   
  • Knowledge on issuance of various types of LC (sight/usance/UPAS) and UCPDC guidelines.
  • Knowledge on EDPMS and IDPMS portals of RBI and closure of Bill of Entries, Shipping documents in time bound manner.
  • Develop and manage MIS reporting for import transactions.
  • Supervision and monitoring of Financial Charges.
  • Dealing with RBI on compliance matters of Imports.
  • Reconciliation of Non Fund Based limits with banks.
  • Problem solving attitude and ability to resolve conflicts.


Qualifications/ Skills:

  • MBA finance
  • 6-10 years treasury experience within large corporates
  • Trade Finance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of import financing, including Letters of Credit (LC) management (issuance, discounting, negotiation) and various types of LCs (sight, usance, UPAS). Familiarity with UCPDC guidelines is essential.
  • Regulatory Compliance and RBI Compliance Management: Strong understanding of FEMA guidelines, EDPMS and IDPMS portals, and RBI compliance matters, including the timely closure of Bills of Entry and shipping documents for imports.
  • Banking Relationship Management and Stakeholder Coordination: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions for financing. Skilled at managing internal stakeholders and ensuring seamless processing of financial transactions, with a focus on MIS reporting and reconciliation of non-fund-based limits.
