Read on...What makes the role meaty?Design Leadership & Strategy• Define and drive the product design vision and strategy aligned with business and product goals• Establish a robust design system and design standards ensuring consistency, scalability, and brand alignment• Champion design thinking, user-centricity, and accessibility across all digital touchpointsUser Experience & Interaction Design• Lead the design of end-to-end user journeys: discovery, purchase, checkout, and post-purchase• Translate insights from user research and data analytics into actionable design solutions• Balance delightful aesthetics with functional usability to optimize customer experience andconversionCollaboration & Influence• Partner with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and marketers to deliver impactful product experiences.• Influence roadmap prioritisation by advocating for user needs and design impact on business metrics.• Collaborate with brand & communication design to ensure digital product experiences reflect the Licious brand ethos.Team Leadership & Growth• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product design team (UI, UX, Research, Design Ops)• Set up processes, tools, and best practices for design delivery at scale• Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and craft excellenceWe hope that you have..• 10+ years of design experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles.• Proven track record of building and scaling design teams in consumer internet / ecommerce /consumer brands.• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in product design, brand design, and holistic consumerexperience.• Expertise in design systems, user research, and design operations.• Ability to balance business goals, user needs, and creative vision.• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.• Passion for consumer brands, food, and creating delightful experiences.• B.Des/M.Des or a degree in relevant domain
