Role OverviewWe’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our high-performance Finance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency as DriveU scales rapidly across India.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and journal entries.Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closures.Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements and internal reporting standards.Oversee GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for budgeting, cost analysis, and internal audits.Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and government authorities as needed.Drive process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred).2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a fast-growing startup or tech environment.Strong knowledge of Tally/Zoho Books or similar ERP systems.Solid understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation (GST, TDS), and compliance.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environmentWhy DriveU?Be part of India’s fastest-growing profitable mobility platform.Work with a passionate team building products that move a nation.Fast-paced, high-growth environment with real ownership and visibility.Perks & Culture:🥗 Free Lunch, Tea & Snacks🐶 Dog-Friendly Office🗓️ 5-Day Work Week (Monday to Friday)💼 Competitive compensation & career growth opportunitiesReady to drive change?
