Enterprise Data Platform Specialist RoleWe are looking for an experienced specialist to implement and maintain a scalable data platform on cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working in agile environments and extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms.Main Responsibilities:Platform Implementation: Design, build, and manage the data platform, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.Operational Support: Provide technical assistance to engineering, science, and application teams, resolving service issues and troubleshooting problems.Cluster Management: Install, configure, and maintain Databricks clusters and workspaces, monitoring performance, resource utilization, and costs.Security and Compliance: Develop and enforce access controls and security policies to safeguard sensitive data, adhering to relevant data governance and regulatory requirements.Integration: Establish and maintain connections between the data platform and other sources like Snowflake, optimizing data pipelines and workflows.Automation: Create and maintain automation scripts and tools using Terraform for routine tasks and platform provisioning.Key Qualifications:Strong expertise in cloud-based data platforms, particularly AWS/Azure/GCP.Experience with Databricks workspace management, user/group administration, and security configurations.Proficiency in cluster management, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.Deep understanding of security policies, access controls, and compliance regulations.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication skills, with experience working in collaborative teams.
