At Biocon Biologics, Finance is one of the major pillars and an essential ingredient to a successful businessKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely closure of activities related to revenue recognition and AR with utmost accuracyMonthly books closure activities including reporting of Revenue, Receivables, and other MISManage end-to-end order processing including order validation, billing accuracy, and coordination with supply chain teams to ensure timely fulfilmentReview of receivables management, ensuring timely collection, dispute resolution by coordinating with internal and external stakeholdersPrepare periodic reports including aging analysis, DSO trends, and collection forecasts for management reviewDeveloping relationships with banks, payment gateways for latest functionalities at competitive costCo-ordinate, review and provide support through appropriate inputs to the reporting teams for the monthly/quarterly and yearly MIS reportingCo-ordination with statutory and tax AuditorsRevenue variance analysis and tracking Plan vs. actuals.Liaise with third party accounting, tax service providers and other consultants on local regulatory/accounting/audit compliancesWork with onshore and offshore finance team reporting within Biocon Biologics group, to monitor all transactions and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day accounting operationsDevelop and maintain sound internal control system in finance reporting processesContribute to process improvement initiatives, automation efforts, and best practice sharing within and outside the O2C functionEducation, Experience and SkillExperience 2+ yearsQualification – Chartered Accountant preferably with Big4 experienceHands on experience with SAP will be an added advantageAbility to understand and effectively apply technical accounting guidance for Revenue and AR AccountingExcellent analytical skillsStakeholder managementProficient in MS Excel and PowerPointExcellent Communication Skills (Written & Oral) and Networking skillsFlexibility & open mind to look at dynamic and ever-changing business environment and needsTime management & ability to prioritize work / MultitaskingStrong command over accountingResult oriented
