Cloud Data Migration SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Migration Specialist to support our migration initiative from Teradata to BigQuery. This role requires a hands-on developer who can collaborate closely with our data and reporting teams to ensure smooth repointing and validation of Power BI reports.About the Role:Data Migration Expertise: Support the migration of reporting data sources from Teradata to BigQuery.Report Validation: Repoint and validate existing Power BI reports to new BigQuery data models.New Data Models: Design and develop new tables, views, and queries in BigQuery to support migrated reports.Quality Assurance: Conduct QA validation to ensure data accuracy and performance parity post-migration.Collaboration: Collaborate with the BI and infrastructure teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure seamless integration.Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to query performance, permissions, or connectivity.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.Proven experience in data migration and ETL development.Familiarity with BigQuery and Power BI.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong collaboration and communication skills.What We Offer:A competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A collaborative and dynamic work environment.
