Accounts and Taxation Specialist

Primary Responsibilities:1. Accounting EntriesRecord and post daily transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments) into the accounting system.Maintain accurate general ledger, journals, and trial balances.Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.2. GST and TDS FilingsPrepare, compute, and assist with timely filing of GST and TDS returns to ensure statutory compliance.Maintain documentation required for tax filings and coordinate with auditors or consultants as needed.Additional Responsibilities (as applicable):Process accounts payable and receivable; track vendor payments and client receipts.Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting (e.g., financial statements, P&L, balance sheets).Support audit preparation by organizing necessary financial documentation.Work with budget planning and MIS/reporting tasks for internal stakeholders.Required Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.1–3 years of relevant experience in general accounting and compliance in a corporate setup.Completed CA Articleship candidates are also eligible to apply.Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Zoho Books, Tally ERP) and MS Excel.Solid understanding of GST and TDS compliance, including return filing and statutory procedures.Strong accuracy, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.Compensation: 💰 CTC: ₹3.6 – ₹4.2 LPA
