About the RoleThe Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers across diverse groups to realize our vision. They will set direction and long-term vision for the team, partner with product, business, and other stakeholders to achieve their objectives.Key Responsibilities:Lead engineers in achieving project goals and outcomesDevelop and provide hands-on leadership for top-notch engineers and leadsCreate clear career paths for team members to help them grow with regular and deep mentoringDrive strategy and vision across teams in a rapidly evolving environmentWork closely with diverse stakeholders and enable them by providing scalable and quality technology solutionsFacilitate platform solutions that span beyond the team and across the ecosystemTake accountability for moving key business metrics within your areaProvide thought partnership to the product team and ensure collaboration among product, engineering, and business operation teamsDrive agility in execution, create a strong team culture of responsiveness by leading by example and owning decision making around prioritization for better predictabilityRequired Skills and Qualifications:We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:B.Tech, M.tech or any other similar qualification with at least 10+ years of experience in building cutting-edge products with 2+ years in people managementGood understanding of technology and architecture in a highly scalable and available setupStrong experience handling large data (batch and real-time), workflows and scheduling, building pluggable frameworks and systems, strong abstraction, and design skillsProven track record of delivering products with high quality, familiarity with multiple software development practices and toolsStrong partnership with product and business teams that demonstrates effective collaboration and communication across multiple stakeholdersExposure to different design & architecture patterns as we build systems in SOA.
