What You'll Be DoingBuilding and maintaining full-stack applications in .NET (C#) and Designing and developing well-tested code using TDD and other automated testing strategiesCollaborating closely with remote UK teammates, communicating clearly via async tools and videoParticipating in stand-ups, retros, sprint planning, and product discussionsSupporting patient-facing services and clinician tools used across the NHSWorking in a culture where you're encouraged to ask questions, offer suggestions, and grow beyond your BAU What We're Looking ForMust HavesStrong hands-on experience in .NET C# developmentFront-end development experience (ideally with , or React/Angular with a willingness to learn)Solid understanding of software testing principles:TDD (Test-Driven Development)Types of testing: unit, integration, end-to-end, systemExperience writing and maintaining tests as part of CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)Comfortable with SQL and working with relational databasesExperience working remotely or in globally distributed teamsStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishA collaborative mindset: proactive, communicative, and open to feedbackNice to HavesExperience with Azure (e.g. App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs)Understanding of distributed systems and microservicesFamiliarity with Domain Driven Design (DDD)Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, ARM, Bicep)Contributions to open source, personal projects, or technical blogs What Makes You a Great FitYou thrive in a culture of openness, support, and autonomyYou are comfortable asking for help and equally happy offering itYou treat remote work as first-class: you're structured, dependable, and know how to stay visibleYou genuinely care about the impact of the software you writeYou're excited to grow as part of a remote-first team working on meaningful healthcare problems A Word on CultureWe work hard to make our remote team feel connected and supported — regardless of location.
