We also provide foundational platform services to set up and configure accounts, organize resources for efficiency, and control resource consumption across large-scale cloud implementations.ResponsibilitiesOur Principal Engineers operate autonomously and set technical direction for the broader org. You have experience developing and running high-scale services, and you know how to make cloud-scale systems resilient. You balance speed and quality through iterative improvements, champion operational excellence, and foster a proactive, ownership-driven culture. You use data to recommend and justify major changes to new and existing products, building consensus across teams.We’re seeking a Principal Engineer with deep cloud experience and hands-on design expertise in large-scale, distributed systems. If you’ve built and operated services in cloud environments and are ready to lead at scale, we’d love to meet you.QualificationsBS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience.7+ years of total experience in software development.Demonstrated ability to write great code using Java, Python, GoLang, C#, or similar Object Oriented languages.Proven ability to deliver products and experience with the full software development lifecycle.Experience working on large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure.Experience working in an operational environment with mission-critical tier-one servicesSystematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership, and drivExperience designing architectures that demonstrate deep technical depth in one area, or span many products, to enable high availability, scalability, market-leading features and flexibility to meet future business demand.Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiencesComfortably in a collaborative, agile development environment.
