Job Responsibilities:Formulating, suggesting, and managing data-driven projects which are geared at furthering the business's interests.Collating and cleaning data from various entities for later use by junior data scientists.Delegating tasks to Junior Data Scientists in order to realize the successful completion of projects.Monitoring the performance of Junior Data Scientists and providing them with practical guidance, as needed.Selecting and employing advanced statistical procedures to obtain actionable insights.Cross-validating models to ensure their generalizability.Producing and disseminating non-technical reports that detail the successes and limitations of each project.Suggesting ways in which insights obtained might be used to inform business strategies.Staying informed about developments in Data Science and adjacent fields to ensure that outputs are always relevant.Skills And Qualifications:Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently work with cross-functional teams across the globe and to present information to all levels of the organization.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - ability to develop hypotheses, understand and interpret data within the context of the product/business - solve problems and distill data into actionable recommendations. Intellectual and analytical curiosity - an initiative to dig into the why what & how.Strong number crunching and quantitative skills. Basic proficiency on ML techniques - clustering, decision tree learning, naïve Bayes, support vector machines, Q-learning, the temporal difference, adversarial networks, and neural networks would be a plusAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint. Good hands-on experience in SQL. Experience in Text Analytics, Natural Language ProcessingExperience within Google Analytics, Optimize, Tag Manager, and other Google Suite tools. Experience in Python/R or any equivalent tools is mandatory.Understanding of Business analytics tools & statistical programming languages. An advanced degree in Data Science/Data Analytics or Math/Statistics would be preferred.
