Shopify POS UI Developer Job SummaryJob Description:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a deep understanding of the Shopify platform. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading the delivery of Shopify POS UI Extensions across multiple retail use cases.They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and lead delivery of Shopify POS UI Extensions across multiple retail use cases.Build modern POS experiences using React, TypeScript, and native POS UI Extension components.Upgrade and migrate older POS UI extension versions to the newest APIs & components, handling breaking changes and rollout strategy.Required Skills and Qualifications:8+ years overall IT experience, 3+ years direct experience in Shopify POS / E-commerce for large retail organizations (>$500M revenue), 3–5 years hands-on experience with Shopify POS UI Extensions, Shopify App Bridge, Shopify Admin APIs (REST & GraphQL)Frontend Skills:Advanced skills in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.Knowledge of Liquid templating and Shopify Polaris for Admin UI developmentTechnical Expertise:8+ years overall IT experience.3+ years direct experience in Shopify POS / E-commerce for large retail organizations (>$500M revenue).3–5 years hands-on experience with Shopify POS UI Extensions, Shopify App Bridge, Shopify Admin APIs (REST & GraphQL)Benefits:This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of experienced professionals and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
