Senior Backend Developer Job DescriptionA seasoned Senior Backend Developer is required to drive the development of our products' backend using PHP frameworks like Laravel. This role demands exceptional problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.Key Responsibilities:* Develop high-quality PHP backend code adhering to industry standards using the Laravel framework.* Design efficient client-server architecture.* Build and maintain functional databases and applications.* Create effective APIs following best practices and leveraging third-party services.* Conduct thorough software testing for performance and speed.* Resolve bugs, troubleshoot issues, and update software regularly.* Implement robust security and data protection measures.* Develop mobile-friendly applications and features.* Update legacy code with modern system designs.* Produce clear, concise technical documents.Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (completed).* At least 4 years of backend development experience post-graduation.* Strong knowledge of SDLC Management principles.* Experience with version control tools (DevOps, GIT) from a management and administration perspective.* Proficiency in Node.js, PostgreSQL, SQL, and RESTful API design.* Familiarity with application Servers (Apache, NGINX, AWS) and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).* Strong understanding of release management processes and regulations.* Excellent troubleshooting skills for deployments and configuration issues.* Good market knowledge, specifically in the Saudi context.
