Software Quality Assurance RoleThe Software Quality Assurance role focuses on ensuring the quality of our software products through meticulous manual testing. This involves collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders to identify defects and verify functionality.Key Responsibilities:Create detailed test plans and cases based on product requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage of software functionalities.Execute manual test cases to verify functionality and performance across platforms and devices, including regression testing to ensure new changes don't impact existing functionality.Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools like Jira or Linear, facilitating efficient resolution and improvement.Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback, fostering collaborative relationships and effective communication.Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and continuity.Essential Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience), demonstrating a solid foundation in software development and testing principles.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches, enabling effective test planning and execution.Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and software development processes, streamlining defect management and resolution.Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication skills, ensuring high-quality test results and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.This role requires a strong passion for quality assurance and a commitment to delivering exceptional software products.
