Civil Engineer Land Development Specialist

Civil Designer OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in land development, residential, commercial, and industrial projects that include site servicing, site grading, stormwater management design, construction services, and water resource modeling using HEC-RAS for floodplain analysis.Key Responsibilities:Assist Project Engineers with the design and drafting of site servicing plans, site grading plans, erosion and sediment control plans, pre- and post-development drainage plans; calculations for stormwater management, functional servicing, and floodplain cut and fill analysis.Complete design drawings in accordance with local standards and guidelines, and project specifications.Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D or other computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.Coordinate project drawings with project engineers and others.Evaluate civil engineering designs and ensure they meet project requirements in a timely and effective manner.Work under the direction of senior engineers as part of a collaborative team environment.Support the design, drafting, modification, and evaluation of civil engineering for Land Development projects.Requirements:A minimum of three years of experience in civil engineering and land development projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or other computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.Strong understanding of site servicing, site grading, stormwater management design, and construction services.Familiarity with HEC-RAS software for floodplain analysis.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
