ETL Tester

Job Summary:We are seeking a seasoned ETL testing professional to join our team.About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing end-to-end testing of ETL pipelines across cloud and on-prem environments.This includes validating source-to-target mappings, complex data transformations, and SCD logic.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ETL testing principles and methodologies.Key Responsibilities:Perform data completeness, data accuracy, and reconciliation testing.Test Informatica IDMC/IICS CDI mappings, taskflows, and ingestion patterns.Create test scenarios using mapping documents, BRDs, and ETL workflows.Test REST/SOAP APIs using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.Validate request/response payloads, authentication flows, error handling, and negative scenarios.Work closely with integration teams to test upstream/downstream interfaces.Validate JSON/XML schema structure, status codes, and pagination logic.Requirements:4–7 years of QA experience with strong ETL Testing background.Mandatory experience in API Testing using Postman/Swagger/SoapUI.Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation.Experience working with Informatica IDMC/IICS, especially CDI.Experience on cloud data testing (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP) is an added advantage.
