Emerging as an expert in a specific skill set but remains focused primarily on daily execution.Knowledge & SkillsThe candidate should possess the following skills:Understands the way Data Management function works preferably under a custody environment and more closely has an understanding of derivatives marketsKnowledge Financial markets more importantly global marketsUnderstands the way Derivative market and function works, custody environment would be an advantageKnowledge on Swift, SSIExcellent Attention to detail, and giving extreme importance to timelines and deliverablesAbility to work constructively under time bound & cut off activities.Ability to communicate with clients (Both internal and external)Excellent communication skills both written & verbalAdaptable to changeAbility to multitask and work with calm under crunch situationsExcellent interpersonal skills for liaising with related departments and Middle OfficesExcellent client handling skillsPrincipal ResponsibilitiesThe principle responsibilities of the Senior Analyst may include, but may not be limited to, the following;Performing day today tasks in Compliance with the Policies & Procedures & meeting the SLA.Perform activities related to Data Management such as routing, coding, SSI setups, call backs, DSM and MI's in an accurate and timely mannerPerform analysis on call back exceptions and report to controls to sick the approvals.Identify improvement areas to bring efficiency or improve controlsCommunicate and coordinate via verbal and written modes, across various partners and external parties to research and resolve exceptionsSwift network relationship establishmentAssist Team Leader in the day to day functioningInvestigative and analytical skillsInternal ControlsProficiency in English, Computer literateGood Written and oral communication skillsTrainingInterpersonal skillsEducation & ExperienceBA/B Com/BBM/MBA (Finance)Preferred 2+ year's operational experience in Derivatives, preferably Data Management as an Analyst / Sr. Analyst.Other RequirementsShould be flexible with shifts.
