Backend Developer PositionWe are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture and implementation of our backend systems.Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality backend services that support our growing user base and data throughput. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and align with business goals.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable backend systems using various technologies such as Python, Java, or Go.Develop and maintain robust, efficient, and secure codebases, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.Collaborate with teams to deliver critical backend initiatives from design to production rollout and monitoring.Architect and improve our microservices framework to enhance performance and facilitate international expansion plans.Ensure system reliability, efficiency, and redundancy, including disaster recovery strategies and data integrity.Mentor junior developers and lead by example in coding, process refinement, and architectural decisions.Optimize existing systems for maximum speed and scalability through rigorous testing and profiling.Spearhead innovations in data security, including enhanced protocols for user data protection and compliance with global standards.Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record in scalable systems.Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.Extensive experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, and serverless architectures.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Strong database management skills with both SQL and NoSQL databases.Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience with financial services applications or social networking platforms will be a significant plus.What We Value:Ownership, curiosity, and collaboration.
