Job OverviewThe role of Dairy Manager is a pivotal position that requires expertise in multi-disciplinary science and research initiatives on climate smart dairy in India.Supporting cross-functional collaboration, the Program Officer will enhance technical, scientific, and operational capacity across livestock and dairy in India by providing strategic guidance and analysis to inform decision-making.Acting as a liaison between key stakeholders, the individual will ensure alignment on science and research priorities while fostering knowledge exchange between international teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborative ExpertiseProviding technical and scientific support to implementation partners to drive project success.Conducting landscape assessments of livestock and dairy sector challenges in target geographies to identify problem areas and potential solutions.Offering insights and analysis to inform strategic decision-making on collaborative agriculture, water, and food projects.Partnership DevelopmentBuilding and maintaining relationships with local partners, dairy companies, milk cooperatives, technical and scientific research institutions, and governmental agencies.Representing the organization at in-person meetings and events across India.Project Management and CoordinationAssisting in documenting progress and preparing reports to update key stakeholders regularly.Effective Communication and CollaborationParticipating in cross-time-zone meetings, including USA-friendly hours.Ensuring effective communication and balancing real-time and asynchronous communication effectively.Content Creation and FundraisingContributing to white papers, blog posts, and other written materials for internal and external audiences.Supporting fundraising and grant writing efforts.Equity and InclusionEmbracing candidates from diverse backgrounds and striving to create an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.Why Join Us?Be part of a dedicated team driving meaningful change through impactful projects.
