Civil DesignerThe role of a Civil Designer is crucial in supporting Project Engineers with the design and creation of site servicing plans, site grading plans, erosion and sediment control plans, pre- and post-development drainage plans; calculations for stormwater management, functional servicing, and floodplain cut and fill analysis.Producing design drawings in accordance with local standards and guidelines, and project specifications is essential.Preliminary and detailed design drawings are created using AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.Project drawings must be coordinated with project engineers, and others.A timely and effective approach ensures that the projects' needs are met.About This RoleCivil Designers are involved in a range of tasks including:Designing and drafting plans for site development, including site servicing, grading, and erosion control.Creating preliminary and detailed designs using various software tools.Collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.Delivering results efficiently and effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesTo perform a variety of tasks related to civil engineering design, such as creating detailed design drawings, preparing technical documents, and coordinating with stakeholders.To work closely with project engineers and other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.To maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.To contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas for process enhancements.We OfferAs a Civil Designer, you will have opportunities to develop your skills and expertise through ongoing training and professional development programs.
