Job Title: Data Integration SpecialistAnalysts who excel in data integration are crucial to our business operations.In this role, you will analyze legacy mainframe data flows and migrate them to cloud-based platforms. You will extract transformation logic from JCL jobs, COBOL programs, and batch workflows.You will work closely with Data Engineers to create and maintain source-to-target data mapping documents, define data transformation rules, and validate cloud-based data pipelines.Conducting data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks between legacy and modern systems is also a key responsibility.Key ResponsibilitiesExtract transformation logic from mainframe JCL jobs, COBOL programs, and batch workflowsCreate and maintain source-to-target data mapping documentsDefine data transformation, aggregation, and derivation rulesPartner with Data Engineers to validate cloud-based data pipelinesPrimary SkillsStrong expertise in data analysis, data mapping, and lineage documentationGood understanding of mainframe data ecosystems (COBOL, VSAM, DB2, flat files), SQL, ETL tools (Databricks, Matillion)Proven ability to analyze JCL and batch processing logicSecondary SkillsFamiliarity with cloud-based architecture and data modeling conceptsExposure to Data Mesh and API-based integrationUnderstanding of data governance, metadata, and cataloging tools
