JOB SUMMARY

  • The AP accountant ensure all process accounting transactions for Accounts Payable (AP) in a complete, accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.

 

Job description:

 

  • Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
  • Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
  • Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables
  • Ensure the accuracy of an organizations financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes
  • Protect businesses against unintentional overpayment
  • Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Vendor Reconciliation
  • Any others add hoc task from time to time.

 

Job requirement:

 

  • Minimum qualification: Graduate in Accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of accounts payable
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Proficient in relevant computer software (SAP or ERP)
  • Fluency in English and Microsoft office (outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint & etc)
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • 1-3 years of accounts payable and general accounting experience
