We supply a聽broad array of over 750 games to Casino operators worldwide. Across its聽studios, 1X2 produces a variety of games; including slots, table games, virtual聽sports and non-traditional gaming experiences.
Our team at 1X2 develops and distributes games to thousands of online casinos聽around the world- including a wide range of household brands such as William聽Hill and BetVictor, alongside the iGaming industry's largest content聽aggregators Entain, Games Global and Bet Construct.
1X2 HQ is based in Brighton UK, with further office locations in Shenfield,聽Hyderabad and Malta; as well as remote employees around the world.
The Position聽
We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Java Developer to join our dynamic team.聽The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and聽maintaining Java-based applications, contributing to the full software聽
development lifecycle from concept to deployment and beyond. This role is idealfor a passionate developer looking to further their career in a challenging and聽rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new聽features
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the team
Required Experience
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design聽patterns
- Proficiency in Java SE (Standard Edition) and Java EE (Enterprise聽Edition)
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
- Familiarity with SQL and databases such as MySQL
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Understanding of software development methodologies, including聽Agile/Scrum
Desirable Experience
- Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and聽frameworks such as Angular or React
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization tools like聽Docker or聽Kubernetes
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
