Interface.ai provides an Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) to FIs to automate calls and customer inquiries across multiple channels and engage their customers with financial insights and upsell/cross-sell. Our IVA is transforming financial institutions’ call centers from a cost to a revenue center.
Our core technology is built 100% in-house with several breakthroughs in Natural Language Understanding. Our parser is built based on zero-shot learning that helps us to launch industry-specific IVA that can achieve over 90% accuracy on Day-1. We are 150+ people strong with employees spread across India and US locations. Many of them come from ML teams at Apple, Microsoft and Salesforce in the US along with enterprise architects with over 20+ years of experience building large-scale systems. Our India team consists of people from ISB, IIMs and many who have been previous part of early-stage startups. We have grown 1800% in the last one year. Founders come from Banking and Enterprise Technology backgrounds with previous experience scaling companies from scratch to $50M+ in revenues. Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to lead our financial operations in India. As a key member of the leadership team, you will report to the CEO and play a critical role in driving financial excellence, compliance, and strategic growth initiatives.
What You Will Do:
1)Drive Financial Strategy and Operational Excellence:
● Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business growth.
● Enhance performance management and accountability for operational excellence.
● Utilize data analysis and automation tools to support scaling and informed decision-making.
2)Collaborate as a Cross-Functional Business Partner:
● Partner with the leadership team to provide financial insights.
● Support strategic planning, cash flow management, and resource allocation.
● Contribute to the long-term vision while managing business risks and maintaining financial discipline.
3)Own the Financial Model, Improve the Planning Process, and Use Financial Analysis of Key SaaS Metrics/KPIs to Influence Business Decisions:
● Analyze financial implications of various business scenarios.
● Evaluate ROI on corporate investments and product offerings.
● Influence and support prioritization of corporate resource utilization.
● Lead the planning process and drive accountability for the financial plan.
● Ensure predictability and visibility of financial results.
● Analyze SaaS metrics (e.g., CLV, CAC, ARR) to guide strategic decisions.
4)Lead and Develop the Finance Team:
● Mentor and develop the finance team to achieve high performance.
● Implement scalable processes and systems to support growth.
● Foster a positive corporate culture and enhance team efficiency through automation.
What You Will Bring:
● Thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven culture with experience establishing systems and processes in a technology company.
● Demonstrated success in a senior financial leadership role within the SaaS industry, preferably with experience scaling high-growth startups.
● Strong operator and leader with the ability to transform finance teams, processes, and systems; implement and track KPIs; and optimize forecasting.
● Experience with investor relations and financing (including debt and equity financing) will be appreciated, along with treasury experience.
● Exceptional presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to board members, investors, leadership teams, and broader company audiences.
● Global financial management experience with international finance, compliance, and tax strategies across different jurisdictions.
● 10+ years of increasing financial leadership responsibility with deep experience in operational finance and FP&A.
● Experience implementing modern finance tools that help scale and influence a company’s digital transformation.
● Ability to fit into a collaborative, transparent, roll-up-your-sleeves culture where people are team-oriented and performance-driven.
