The role involves leading a high-performing team of regional data analysts to drive the standardization of semantic models and unified data definitions across markets.Job responsibilities include building and scaling the regional team, designing and governing unified data models and semantic layers for insurance analytics, delivering Power BI enterprise solutions, and operating and optimizing the Power BI platform.Additionally, the ideal candidate will partner with Snowflake/Redshift/Informatica teams to develop scalable and auditable data pipelines and lead the development of GenAI strategies for insurance analytics.Cross-market program delivery and stakeholder alignment are also key aspects of this role.Key Responsibilities:Team LeadershipBuild and scale a regional Data Solutions Analyst team (hiring, coaching, performance & career development).Data Model GovernanceDesign & govern unified data models and semantic layers for General Insurance (claims, underwriting, actuarial, product, distribution, finance) aligned to global standards.Power BI DeliveryDeliver Power BI enterprise semantic solutions (certified datasets, reusable data products, governed self-service).Platform OptimizationOperate & optimize Power BI platform - governance, Premium capacity, XMLA, ALM/Deployment Pipelines, tuning & workspace standards.GenAI StrategyLead GenAI strategy for insurance analytics - RAG/embeddings, LLM prototypes, responsible AI and compliance.Vendor ManagementPartner with Snowflake / Redshift / Informatica teams for scalable and auditable data pipelines.Data Catalog ImplementationImplement & operate data catalog + lineage platforms (Purview / Collibra / Alation / Informatica EDC).Cross-Market DeliveryDrive cross-market program delivery and ensure strong executive reporting & stakeholder alignment.Requirements:8–12+ years in Data Solutions / BI / Analytics / Data Product roles, with people management experience.Expert in Power BI platform administration.Hands-on with Snowflake/AWS Redshift + Informatica or similar ETL/ELT.Deep experience designing semantic layers & unified models for insurance analytics.Experience delivering GenAI use cases (RAG, embeddings, LLM prototypes).Proven implementation of data catalog + lineage platforms.Strong senior stakeholder & program management across APAC + international collaboration.Preferred Qualifications:Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or related; Master's preferred.Insurance analytics expertise (reserving, pricing, regulatory reporting).Certifications: Power BI, Snowflake, AWS, Informatica, Purview/Collibra/Alation or program management (PMP/Prince2/Agile).Experience delivering GenAI use cases (RAG, embeddings, LLM prototypes).CI/CD for BI & responsible AI experience.Willingness to travel across APAC and engage with US/UK time zones.
